Everyone has a Cross to carry in this life. Why? Since Christ endured the Cross, we must also endure it. On the one hand, the Cross is sweet and light, but, on the other hand, it can also be bitter and heavy. How we experience it depends on our will. If we choose to bear Christ’s Cross with love, then it will be very light… But if we have a negative attitude about our Cross, it will become very heavy—too heavy to lift.
